Minya Governor Essam Al Bedaiwy, Assistant Interior Minister for Northern Upper Egypt sector Mohamed el Kholesiy, and Security Chief Mamdouh Abdel Monsef on Saturday led a military funeral held for Lt. Col. Mohamed Wahid Habashi Meselhi who was killed in Friday's shootout in the desert of Wahat in Giza.

Also, the governorate's secretary general Major General Nabil Mansour took part in a military funeral held for Maj. Mohamed Abdel Fattah Soliman Abdel Hafeez who was killed in the same attack.

The governor affirmed that such terror acts would not undermine the will of the state agencies to uproot terrorism

Scores of residents attended the two funerals, shouting anti-terror slogans and calling for taking revenge on the attackers.
