A supporter of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group was arrested Saturday in Alexandria over instigating violence against police and army.
The suspect, who was a former instructor at Alexandria Faculty of Science, was arrested over charges of belonging to an outlawed terrorist organization and creating many pages on facebook that provoked public against police and army.
The arrestee was one of the people who provided false witness to Human Rights Watch over dispersing pro-deposed president Mohamad Morsi demonstrators in Rabaa el-Adaweya Square on August 14, 2013.
In December, an Egyptian court ruled the Muslim Brotherhood was a terrorist organization, blaming it for a string of attacks in the country and banning all its activities nationwide.
