Militants continue to shell Syrian settlements
Shelling attacks in the settlement of Mharda

Several shelling attacks by militants from illegal armed groups were reported during the day in several settlements in Syria’s Larakia and Hama governorates, chief of the Russian Center for reconciliation of the conflicting sides Sergei Solomatin said on Monday.
"Throughout the day, shelling attacks were reported in the settlement of Mharda in the Hama governorate, the settlements of Ikko, Arafit, Qiljok and Janajik in the Latakia governorate," he said.
Apart from that, according to Solomatin, officers of the Russian reconciliation center conducted a humanitarian operation in Aleppo’s Karalak neighborhood. As many as 80 sets of warm clothes and one tonne of bread were handed out to civilians.
The Russian reconciliation center continues to fulfill assigned tasks after the completion of the military campaign in Syria. The center’s officers regularly travel around the country's liberated areas to assess the humanitarian situation. The main efforts of the Russian military are now focused on assistance to the refugees returning to their homes.
