Massive security measures in Red Sea province

Red Sea security chief Major General Hamdy el-Gazzar said on Friday security measures were beefed up around the vital facilities and major squares in the border province as the country marks Sinai Liberation Day. "Many checkpoints were deployed in the main roads while border checkpoints are on alert," Gazzar said. Roads leading the City Hall's headquarters were closed, he said.
