The press office of Minister of Interior, Nohad Mashnouq
Lebanon - Arab Today

The press office of Minister of Interior, Nohad Mashnouq, clarified, in a statement on Friday, that Qatari Prince Tamim Ben Hamad Ben Khalifa al-Thani, did not pay a secret visit to Lebanon following Israeli hostilities in 2006.

The statement was issued after the Minister had told an LBCI interview that the Qatari Prince had been on a secret trip in Lebanon post July 2006 war.

"This statement is inaccurate," Mashnouq's office indicated.
