
MPs of Maliki's coalition urged the Prime Minister the General Commander of the Armed Forces Haider Abadi to intervene to save hundreds of the detained soldiers in Saqlawiya area after running out ammunition and supplies since a few days ago.
MP Hanan al-Fatlawi said at a news conference with a number of deputies :"The Commander in Chief of the armed forces must take immediate and urgent measures for the evacuation of soldiers and providing air support to them," warning of the occurrence of a new disaster similar to what happened in Sabiker base in case of non-interference to the rescue these soldiers .
