
Minya Governor General Salahuddine Zeyada said Sunday that some educational institutions and streets in the province will be named after the martyrs of Sinai terror attack.
The governor delegated the governorate's secretary general General Osama Dheif and his assistant secretary-general Abdel Nasser Al-Demiatti to offer condolences to a number of families whose sons were killed in the terror attack in Sheikh Zuweid in North Sinai.
Minya has announced a three-day mourning over Sinai terror attack victims and the Egyptian flag was lowered at the city hall's building.
Also in Luxor, residents bid farewell to martyrs Mohammad Hagag Ali Mahmoud, who was slain in Sinai. The funeral was led by the governorate's secretary general General Adel Mahran and top security, executive and popular figures in the province.
Luxor Governor General Tareq Saad El-Din condemned the terror attack against army personnel, asserting that terrorists will pay a dear price for their massacres against the army and police troops.
