Libyan chief of staff Abdel-Razeq al-Nazouri said Tuesday that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi promised support for the Libyan army.
"We were promised training and technical advice," Nazouri told a press conference with Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri.
Libya, with the help of Egypt, is capable of building a strong army, Nazouri assured.
Libya has a military establishment, Nazouri said, adding it only needs little support and potentials.
"President Sisi promised us that," Nazouri told reporters.
