Khartoum - SUNA

The Liberation and Justice Movement has welcomed start of the negotiations between the government and the Justice and Equality Movement and Sudan Liberation Movement - Menawi Faction in Addis Ababa.
The spokesman of the Liberation and Justice Movement, Ahmed Fadul Abdalla, said that the current negotiations in Addis Ababa came as part of the efforts to complete the peace process in Darfur.
He said that the current negotiations in Addis Ababa are only aimed for reaching a comprehensive cease-fire agreement between the government and the armed Darfurian movements, affirming that negotiations on the other files and movements will be at the Doha forum.
Abdalla affirmed that the Doha forum is still open and the Qatari government is still the sponsor of Darfur peace process.
He said that the Liberation and Justice Movement is optimistic that the current negotiations in Addis Ababa will achieve positive results that will pave the way for negotiations on the other political files and the sharing of power and wealth and other issues.
On the implementation of the security arrangements concerning the forces of the Liberation and Justice Movement, Abdalla said the movement's forces will enter training camps on November 25, 2014.
