Lebanon honors its "Independence Men" upcoming Tuesday

Marking its 74th Independence commemoration, the Republic of Lebanon honors its "Men of Independence" by laying wreaths on their graves upcoming Tuesday, according to a program prepared by the Presidency General Directorate of Protocol and Public Relations.

In this connection, cabinet ministers and members of parliament will place the wreaths as follows:

10:00 Minister Michel Pharaon lays a wreath on the Statue of President Bshara Khoury in Ras el-Nabeh

10:00 MP Nematallah Abi Nasr lays a wreath on the tomb of President Fouad Chehab in Ghazir

10:00 Minister Salim Jreissati lays a wreath at the tomb of President Riyad Solh in Ouzai

10:30 MP Mohammed Qabbani lays a wreath on Adnan al-Hakim's Statue in Bashoura

10:45 Minister Jamal Jarrah lays a wreath on the tomb of President Saeb Salam at the Martrys' Cemetery in Kaskas

10:45 Minister Nuhad al-Mashnouq lays a wreath on the tomb of President Rafic Hariri at Martyrs' Square

11:00 MP Ali Khreiss lays a wreath on the tomb of President Adel Osseiran at Al-Fawqa Gate Cemetery in Sidon

11:00 Minister Ghassan Hasbani lays a wreath on the tomb of Prince Majid Arslan in Khaldeh

11:00 MP Michel Moussa lays a wreath on the tomb of Habib Abu Shahla in Mar Elias Batina Cemetery

11:00 Minister Ghattas Khoury lays a wreath on the Statue of Sheikh Pierre Gemayel in Bikfaya

11:30 MP Henry Helo lays a wreath on the tomb of President Camille Chamoun in Deir el-Qamar

12:00 Minister Nicola Tueni lays a wreath on the tomb of President Sabri Hamadeh in Hermel

12:00 Minister Yaqoub Sarraf lays a wreath at the tomb of President Abdul-Hamid Karami in Tripoli

Furthermore, Minister Tarek al-Khatib will visit the "Government of Independence House" in the town of Bshamoun at 12 noon on Tuesday, while MP Assem Araji visits Rachaya Castle at 11 am.

On Wednesday, National Defense Minister Yaacoub Sarraf will place a wreath in front of Prince Fakhreddine's Statue at the Ministry of Defense at 11 am, while Tourism Minister Ouadis Kidanian lays a wreath on the tomb of Martyr Said Fakhreddine in Ain Anoub.

Deputy Prime Minister, Public Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani will place a wreath before the memorial portrait of President Rene Mouawad in Zarif at 2:00 p.m.
