Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam said Saturday that Lebanon will not be defeated by challenges, especially the wave of terrorism hitting the country.
In press statements, he highlighted the importance of unity among Lebanese in the face of adversity, particularly the tragedy of the abducted soldiers.
A delegation from Beirut International Awards Festivals visited Salam today and presented him with an honorary shield.
"The calamity of the soldiers is our main concern and it is an utmost priority for us," said the Premier.
He added that the ministerial crisis-managing team was following up on the matter with great care and precision with the hope for a happy ending.
