Makkah - KUNA

Undersecretary of Kuwait's Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and the Head of Hajj Mission Dr. Adel Al-Falah affirmed on Friday here that Kuwaiti pilgrims are safe.
In a statement to KUNA, Al-Falah said that pilgrims moved from Mina to Arafat Mount smoothly and no accidents or problems were reported.
He noted that the mission has prepared makeshift tents in Mina to accommodate pilgrims after returning tomorrow morning, the first day of Eid Al-Adha, coming from Valley of Muzdalifa.
Al-Falah pointed out that Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister and acting Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah follows up closely the conditions of Kuwaiti pilgrims and services provided to them.
He said Saudi authorities had to deport at least 150 Kuwaiti pilgrims as they were carrying forged visas after they arrived at New King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
He added that Saudi authorities continued until Friday morning launching its watertight security campaigns to check up visas of pilgrims at its different ports.
Al-Falah thanked His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for their constant support to pilgrims.
He also expressed his gratitude to Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled for his directives to provide the best services to Kuwait's pilgrims.
Al-Falah commended the efforts and facilities provided by Saudi government, upon the directives of King Abdullah bin Abdul Azizi, to pilgrims to enable them perform Hajj easily and smoothly.
