The Patriarch of the Coptic Catholic Church Ibrahim Isaac has lauded Kuwait's comprehensive humanitarian and relief efforts that recognize no racial, religious or ethnic considerations.
On departure from Kuwait on Sunday, Patriarch Isaac told reporters that the country does its best to help the afflicted, the homeless and refugees "driven by a pure humanitarian motive".
He added that his visit to Kuwait was a successful one, as he saw how the Catholic Copts and the Egyptian community in general, enjoy due care in Kuwait amid a multicultural social climate.
The Patriarch noted that during the visit he felt the climate of coexistence that reflects how Kuwait, leadership and people, is open to the other, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
This is also obvious in the leading humanitarian role by His Highness the Amir Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, he said, praying God to bestow security, stability, peace, prosperity and coexistence in love on Kuwait, Egypt, and all the Arab countries as well as the world at large.
Patriarch Isaac arrived in Kuwait on November on his first visit to Kuwait, during which he met with officials and religious figures, and was acquainted with the conditions of the Catholic Copts in the country, KUNA reported.
