The bureau of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Friday emphatically denied that he had made a statement on "selecting ministers." The Premier's Office said in a statement, "a media outlet broadcast remarks attributed to His Highness the Prime Minister on choosing the ministers as well as about parliamentary consent.
"We affirm that His Highness (the Premier) made no such statement or hint in this respect at a public or private meeting and he had never touched on this issue, in general or in particular." The office urged the media to be keen on accuracy, particularly with respect of citing statements or stances by His Highness the Prime Minister.
