The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour commended the cooperation of public and private institutions in preparation efforts for the Third Gulf Festival for Social Action set to be hosted by Kuwait in April next year. The ministry's Undersecretary Mohammad Al-Kandari was heading the festival's sixth preparatory meeting on Saturday, during which he had stressed the need to select competent members for the event's organizing committee. He also called for the event to focus on quality over quantity. He furthermore highlighted the important roles of ministry sectors like social development, women and children and family welfare in making the event a success, calling on them to hasten adding their ideas and proposals related to the event.
