Kuwaiti firemen subdue fire in al-Shuwaikh

Firefighting units managed to control a fire an hour after it broke out in several car workshops in Al-Shuwaikh industrial area Friday afternoon.
Two workers and a fireman were injured in the incident, Kuwait Fire Services Directorate (KFSD) announced.
Director the KFSD public relations and information Dept. Brig. Khalil Al-Amir commended, in statements to KUNA, the timely response of the firemen which helped ward off more human or material damage Fire engines from the depts. of Al-Shuwaikh, Al-Sulaibkhat, Al-Shuhada, AL-Salmiya and the Capital City, took part in the battle against the fire which covered an area of 2,000 sq.m., he added.
