
The National Assembly held a meeting on Sunday between members of the Legislative and Executive authorities to discuss the recent local and international developments.
National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim invited members of the two branches last Thursday to convene a meeting, which will substitute an emergency parliamentary session.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Justice Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, Minister of Health Ali Al-Obaidi and Minister of Oil and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Ali Al-Omair.
