
Kuwaiti ambassador to Khartoum Talal Al-Hajri has participated in a celebration to provide care and assistance to a number of orphans cared for by the Al-Rahma International Society of the Social Reform Society in Kuwait.
This celebration marked the Muslim Orphan Day and was attended by officials representing various Sudanese charitable organizations and Sudanese Minister of Social Care Amal Al-Beeli.
The aid consisted of Eid clothes, cash money and sewing machines to help orphans' mothers make a living, in addition to honoring distinguished orphans.
This support is important for the orphans and that Kuwait's support would continue in this regard, ambassador Al-Hajri said in a speech.
The ambassador praised the role of Sudan's charitable societies in helping the needy people in Sudan.
