
Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Justice Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah stressed here on Monday the importance of boosting legal and judicial cooperation among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
Kuwait is to host on October 22 the 26th meeting of the GCC ministers of justice. The two-day meeting will be chaired by Sheikh Mohammad and it will discuss reaching a joint collaboration to different legal and judicial laws.
The minister pointed out in a press statement, Monday, that there should be a follow-up on all decisions that were made in the previous meetings for a better implementation.
GCC ministers of justice, legal and judicial officials are expecting to arrive in Kuwait tomorrow.
Wednesday's meeting will focus on Muscat Document on the Unified Personal Laws as a model Law among other legal issues.
