The Kuwaiti Army announced Sunday that its forces would conduct live-ammunition drills Tuesday-Wednesday, September 23 and 24.
In a press statement, the Army's Public Relations and Morale Department said the drills would be conducted from 06:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. (local time).
The shooting range where the drills are to take place is located 16.5 nautical miles east off the coast of Julai and stretches to Um Al-Maradem Island at an overall six nautical miles area.
The army urged all nationals and residents, both regular sea-goers and fishing enthusiasts, to stay away from the specified area for their own safety.
