
A number of senior officials from Kuwait Foreign Affairs Ministry and counterparts from Switzerland discussed on Thursday ways to bolster co-operation and activate signed agreements between them, especially those related to combating terrorism.
According to Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, the Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Ambassador Walid Ali Al-Khubaizi headed the Kuwaiti side, while Assistant Undersecretary and Director of Middle East Affairs Ambassador Wolfgang Amadeus headed Switzerland side during the talks, the ministry said in a statement.
The statement added the talks also comes to follow on decisions made during the recent visit by Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to Switzerland last August.
