The Kuwaiti government stands firmly behind the work of the Anti-Corruption Public Authority (ACPA) which strives to rid the society of all sorts of socio-political corruption, said State Minister for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah in a press statement on Thursday.
The minister made that statement during his visit to the temporary headquarters of the ACPA in the suburb of Al-Shamiya where he met there with the officials of the ACPA with whom he discussed a number of issues related to the work of the organization, chief among them being details of the draft law which came out in 2012 calling for the establishment of the ACPA.
Moreover, the minister discussed with these officials the parameters guiding the resolution requiring public sector officials to reveal their financial standings.
Welcoming the minister at the temporary headquarters were ACPA chief Abdulrahman Al-Namash, his deputy Riyadh Al-Hajri and members of the organization's board of trustees.
