The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) continues distribution of rations of Eid Al-Adha's sacrificial livestock to Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
On Sunday, the KRCS staff distributed the sacrificial lamb to over 900 displaced Syrian families in the Eastern Beqaa Governorate, the KRCS's envoy, Dr. Musaed Al-Enezi told KUNA.
He added that KRCS would distribute in the coming days new relief aid batch to Syrian refugees in the region including food rations, medicine and blankets.
The Kuwait-provided aid supplies have reached tens of thousands of Syrian refugees in various Lebanese regions and the relief operations have been carried out in coordination with the Lebanese Red Cross and the Kuwaiti Embassy.
Kuwait, namely the philanthropic society, has been in lead among nations offering aid and humanitarian supplies to some 1.5 million Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
