
Kuwait on Saturday condemned the two terrorist attacks that occurred in Sinai on Friday, killing and wounding scores of Egyptian Army troops, KUNA reported.
"These two terrorist attacks that aimed at undermining security and stability in sisterly Egypt and scaring civilians contradict all religious laws and humanitarian values," a Foreign Ministry official source stated in a statement.
The official source affirmed necessity of the international community's solidarity with Egypt, called for doubling efforts to clamp down on terrorism, for it constitutes a threat to security and stability, and that for the sake of relieving the world of such evil acts.
Kuwait stands by the side of Egypt in the face of such threats, the official source said, expressing confidence that the Egyptian authorities would succeed in facing terrorism and maintaining the nation's security and stability.
The official source hoped that Egypt would be protected against any evil acts and prayed for souls of the victims and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
