Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) announced Tuesday that it was launching next Sunday a donations campaign for the benefit of the people of Gaza who are bearing the brunt of Israeli attacks.
Saying that the donations drive will go on for five days, KRCS chairman Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer emphasized in a press statement that the donations would focus on providing quick emergency relief such as medicine and medical equipment that would be of prime use at a time when scores of Gazans have fallen victims to the Israeli attacks.
He appealed to Kuwaiti people and expatriates in Kuwait to donate generously to Sunday's drive to help those who are in dire need of emergency assistance, noting that his organization was very well poised due to past experiences to hand over the emergency relief items to the people of Gaza speedily and promptly.
