
Royal Academy of Police (RAP), in collaboration with Tamkeen, tomorrow launches summer camp activities for the sixth year in a row.
RAP Commandant, Staff Colonel Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, said in line with directives of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, and in order to activate principles of community partnership, which represents the base for the Interior Ministry's activities that target reinforcing the homeland's security and stability, RAP organizes summer camp to complement the Interior Ministry's efforts in developing the Bahraini youth's mental and physical abilities and to orientate them toward promoting patriotism.
He added that more than 1200 students of both genders will participate in the RAP summer camp programme, who will be divided into groups under the supervision of RAP training officers. The summer programme aims to refine the participants' cultural, social and sport talents, in addition to develop their leadership, disciplinary spirit and self-reliance skills.
