Jordanian king visits the army headquarters after his return

His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, immediately on his return home, visited the General Headquarters of the Jordan Armed Forces where he was received by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mashal Mohammad Zaben and His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein.
The King checked on the preparations taken by the armed forces to preserve the security of Jordan and its people in line with the country’s supportive stance towards the regional and international alliance to counter terrorist organizations and groups that threaten security and stability of the region.
Jordan, His Majesty stressed, will continue in its efforts to counter terrorists and cut off their resources.
The army chief briefed the King on all operational, logistical, and administrative issues of the army's units and formations and their plans to deal with all challenges and threats.
