
His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, visited on Monday one of the formations at the Northern Military Zone.
Upon arrival, the King was welcomed by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mashal Mohammad Zaben, commander of the zone and other officers.
His Majesty was briefed by commanders of the Northern Military Zone and commander and the 12th Al-Yarmouk Brigade on duties of the zone and its units, their training and operational programs as well as their level of preparedness.
The King also toured an exhibition organized by the Northern Military Zone and was briefed on the newly acquired weapons and equipment used by the zone and its various units.
He also met with army personnel and attended a drill that reflected its high competence and preparedness of the units.
