
Interior Minister Hussein Majali met on Wednesday with Lebanese Foreign Minister Gibran Bassil and the accompanying delegation to discuss bilateral cooperation as well as the latest developments in the region.
Majali stressed the need to build on the strong ties between the two countries in the political, economic and security fields, pointing to the importance of the Jordanian-Lebanese partnership and the necessity of supporting it in the interest of both countries.
He also called for continued coordination and consultations to preserve stability in the region and address common challenges.
The minister voiced Jordan's readiness to provide security expertise to Lebanon by exchanging training programs and data in the light of the increasing violence and terrorism.
The Lebanese minister praised Jordan's wisdom in addressing various challenges and its relentless efforts to support Arab and Islamic issues.
