The State Security Court's panel of military judges deferred until next Monday a trial in which ten people face charges of being affiliated with the terrorist organization Daesh, and are accused of recruiting people to join the group or promoting its ideology.
One of the defendants had confessed that he indeed belonged to the terrorist organization and had illegally travelled in and out of the Kingdom. A verdict against him will be issued next Monday.
The general prosecutor had also referred to the state security court another suspect accused of using the internet to propagate terrorist ideology.
A third defendant had confessed before the military judges that he had also illegally travelled in and out of the Kingdom, but denied the charge of belonging to an armed terrorist organization.
