Jordan takes part in SMIIC meeting in Istanbul

Jordan is taking part in the 2nd General Assembly of the Standards and Metrology Institute for the Islamic Countries (SMIIC) currently being held in the Turkish city of Istanbul. Director General of the Department of Standards and Metrology Yassin Al-Khayyat said in a press statement on Wednesday that the meeting will discuss a number of issues relating to standards and metrology in Islamic countries as well as means of boosting trade among these countries.
