
Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Jodah stressed the importance of the success of Cairo conference on the reconstruction of Gaza Strip, due to kick off in Cairo on October 12.
The minister's statements came after a session of talks with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin where the two sides discussed the Middle East peace process and regional and international efforts to confront the terrorist organizations in Syria and Iraq.
A statement by the Jordanian Foreign Ministry stressed the importance of accelerating international efforts to resume peace negotiations between the Palestinian and Israel.
The statement rejected Israel's violations of Islamic and Christin holy sites in the Palestinian territories and stressed the importance of reaching a political solution to the Syria crisis.
