
Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour opened on Friday a newly built mosque in Salhoub town in the Ain Al Basha District.
The Friday sermon, which was delivered by Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Hayel Abdul Hafeez Daoud, focused on the importance and virtues of the holy month of Ramadan.
The minister called on Muslims to seize the opportunity of the holy month by doing good deeds.
The three-storey mosque was built at the expense of MP Khamis Attieh at a total cost of JD300,000.
At the end of the ceremony, Ensour, who was accompanied by a number of ministers, deputies and senators, listened to the demands of citizens in Salhoub.
