
Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh left for Cyprus onWednesday on a several-day official visit during which he will meet with President ofthe Republic Nicos Anastasiades.Tarawneh, who is leading a parliamentary delegation, will also hold talks withCypriot Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides as well as his Cypriot counterpart, the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign and European Affairs and thePresident of the Cyprus-Jordan Friendship Group.The House Speaker and the delegates will also visit the Cypriot House ofRepresentatives to have a first-hand-look at the deliberations of the plenary meetingand its discussions in the domestic and international spheres.
