Interior Minister Mohamad Ibrahim on Saturday ordered Ismailia security chief to be moved to civil affairs authority after he noticed a shortage in the security services at Suez Canal navigation course during an inspection tour.
Ibrahim decided to appoint General Mostafa Salam, deputy director of Port Said Security Directorate, as Ismailia Security Chief in succession of General Mohamad El Enani who was moved to the civil aviation authority.
The interior minister made a surprise visit earlier in the day to inspect security situation in Ismailia and Port Said security directorates and the Suez Canal navigation course.
