Al-Bayati said, "the conferees stressed the need to elect a supreme political body of the heads of the blocs within the coalition of state of law or that joined it after the recent parliamentary elections so as not to exceed the number of its members for ten people with the addition of another candidate to it to become (1+10) MPs from each entity with taking into account the feminist element in the body, adding that he expects the total number of members of the governing body in accordance with the new system will be 15-members, adding that the body then will elect one member to its head by majority. "
He explained that "the prime minister Haider al-Abadi presented, at the meeting a presentation on the political and security situation in the country and the latest developments in international mobilization and contributing countries to support Iraq. And the results of political meetings with the blocs, indicating that Abadi promised to resolve the file of the security ministries at the earliest possible opportunity and present the candidates to Council House of Representatives, noting that Riad Ghraib and Jaber al-Jabri are still the most likely candidates to receive the ministries of interior and defense, ".
