Iraqi house speaker meets with Hadi al-Ameri

Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri discussed with the secretary general of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Ameri and his entourage events and developments on the local political scene.
A statement by the Office of the President of the House of Representatives, said, "During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the overall events and developments in the domestic arena. And stressed the need for concerted efforts of all to stabilize the internal situation and the elimination of all forms of violence and terrorism."
Jubouri stressed on the need to put aside their differences and to provide a suitable ground for the complete the formation of the government , calling to make the country's interests above partisan or sectarianism interests.
For his part, Ameri praised the efforts of Jubouri and his administration for the meetings of the Council, expressing optimism about the restoration the role of the Council and positive repercussions on the overall political process.
