A parliamentary source said that the Iraqi forces coalition will determine its final position today to participate in the government of assigned Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) “The Iraqi national forces coalition is determined to include the special demands of the six provinces in the government’s program, otherwise the coalition will determine its final position today to participate in Abadi’s government.”
He added, “The stalled negotiations to form the government is not limited to the Iraqi national forces coalition only, but the coalition of Kurdish blocs as well, where no solutions are found to the demands of the Kurdish forces or agreed upon with the National Alliance.”
An informed source said that the Iraqi forces coalition announced, after a meeting of its leaders, who are authorized to negotiate with the assigned Prime Minister, Haider Abadi that things are moving towards non-participation in the next government after a series of meetings with the National Alliance.
