Interior Ministry holds ceremony.
Manama - Arab Today
Under the patronage Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, the Human Resources Department held a ceremony to celebrate its ISO award for quality assurance and environment.
The Chief Executive of the Supreme Council for Environment, Dr Mohammed Mubarak bin Dainah and Executive Manager of the Bureau Verities, Thualfaqar Haider also attended.
Assistant Undersecretary of Human Resources, Brigadier Adel Abdullah Ameen said that promoting sustainable environment development was part of the directives of the Interior Minister and the follow-up of the Undersecretary.
He said that the department had transferred its focus from the requirements of the ISO 2008:9001 that it succeeded in obtaining over the past ten years to the new addition of the ISO 2015:9001 and the environmental management system. The department has become the first government directorate to obtain this certificate.
