
Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received here today the Director-General of the of King Fahad Causeway Authority (KFCA)Bader bin Abdullah Al Otaishan.
Interior Ministry's Undersecretary for Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA), Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and President of Customs Affairs, Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa attended the meeting.
The Interior Minister hailed the brotherly ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, asserting that the King Hamad Causeway will strengthen the solid bilateral bonds and reflect the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to achieve cooperation and integration so as to push further the economic development of the two countries for joint GCC interests.
This came as received here today the annual report of the King Fahad Causeway Authority, including achievements and development work on the causeway and the latest operations on the Causeway’s utilities and services.
He voiced the importance of the completion of all development projects regarding the current and future travel movement on the causeway.
He hailed the good efforts of the KFCA in enhancing performance in service providing and facilitation of travel movements of individuals and goods through the causeway, being a vital link between the two sisterly Kingdoms.
Al Otaishan expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Interior Ministers for his care and dedication for the implementation of development projects on the causeway, highlighting the ongoing support to the Interior Ministry, which will achieve a turning point for comprehensive services for the causeway users.
