Interior Minister Lt. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa led Bahrain's delegation to the 18th consultative meeting of the GCC Interior Ministers which convened in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, today under the chairmanship of Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Discussions focused on issues pertaining to the security field and ways of boosting joint security cooperation to promote security and stability in the GCC countries.
The GCC Interior Ministers stressed the need for concerted efforts and coordinated stances to foster the GCC security. They thanked the GCC leaders for their support to the GCC march to achieve people's aspirations for more cooperation, cohesion and integration.
