The Integrated Transport Center (ITC) announced the implementation of 207 temporary standard parking bays in sector E14 ,Al Zahiya, Abu Dhabi Mohammed Hamad Al Muhairi, Deputy General Manager of the ITC, Head of Traffic and Parking Team, said that the implementation includes 124 temporary standard parking bays for all residents’ permits holders and customers in sector E14. There are 82 parking bays reserved for residence. The sector is located in the area that is bordered by Al Meena Street in the north, Hamdan bin Mohammed Street in the South, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed the First Street in the east and Street 26 in the west.

Al Muhairi stated that the aim of such implementation is to offer solutions to parking bays issues in which lead to maintain the traffic flow and decrease illegal parking issues. He also said that it is illegal to park on yellow and grey markings, in the middle of the road, double-parking, drop off and pick up points, pedestrian crossings, access points and fire hydrants.
