Information Ministry, Representatives Council sign agreement

Information Affairs Undersecretary Abdulrahman Bahar and Council of Representatives’ Assistant Secretary for Resources and Joint Services, Yasser Al-Shirawi today signed a cooperation agreement.
The agreement stipulates that the ministry provide media coverage for the Council's weekly sessions and parliamentary committees meetings and activities to be held during the fourth session of the fourth legislative term.
Al-Dossari said the agreement targets establishing partnership with the ministry to inform the public of the Council’s work, disseminating parliamentary culture and highlighting parliamentary achievements.
He lauded the efforts exerted by the ministry and media institutions' to cover the parliamentary activities and weekly sessions.
The Undersecretary conveyed the directives of Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi to boost media partnership with the Council in the interest of the democratic progress in the Kingdom. He also welcomed the Council’s efforts to promote parliamentary practices.
