Iraqi army close to completely liberating all districts of Tal Afar
Baghdad - Arabs Today
Iraqi forces are only one step away from completely liberating all districts of Tal Afar, Commander of Operation "We are coming Tal Afar!" Lt. Gen. Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah said Sunday.
The whole province will be freed from Daesh once the district of al Ayadiya and its surrounding villages are restored by the army, Yarallah was quoted by Alsumaria news as saying.
Commander of the Iraqi army ground force Lt. Gen. Riad Tawfiq has, meanwhile, announced that Tal Afar has come under control of the army.
