Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development Moustafa Madbouly
Cairo - Arab Today

Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development Moustafa Madbouly had a meeting on Tuesday with several deputies on means of improving services offered to citizens in new cities.

In statements following the meeting, the minister said proposals put forward by the MPs in this regard were "constructive".

The MPs suggested amending decisions to form the new cities' boards of trustees and expanding their authority, Madbouly said.

They also agreed on keeping the new cities affiliated to the Housing Ministry, the minister said, stressing the necessity of activating the role of the boards of trustees of the new cities.
