
Homs Governor Talal al-Barazi said that by the end of July, most of the state department in Homs city will be operational, including the governorate building near the new clock.
Inspecting the work of maintenance workshop in a number of state departments on Monday, al-Barazi said that citizens will be received and their damage compensation requests will be processed as soon as repairs are finished in the governorate building.
He said that the first stage of maintenance work in the Old City focused on clearing roads from debris and securing transport routes in conjunction with repairing state facilities, and that some facilities are already operational including al-Kuwatly communications department.
