Lebanese Forces MP Elie Keyrouz issued a statement on Friday blasting Hezbollah's reception of the leader of Al-Imam al-Baqir brigade, Hajj Hamza (Abu al-Abbas), within the frame of a tour along the southern Lebanese borders.
"Hezbollah continues to act against the Lebanese consensus by receiving in the south of Lebanon Iraqi and Syrian military commanders affiliated to Iran," Keyrouz said.
"The south has turned to a mailbox for the exchange of Iranian letters. The reception of these leaders is a blow to the state's official stances, not to mention an outright violation of Lebanese sovereignty and an appropriation of the state's role," the statement by Keyrouz added.
He finally demanded probing the means by which Abu al-Abbas has arrived to Lebanon and then to its south, especially that visiting the southern region of Lebanon requires special security measures
