
Head of the Tunisian Government Mehdi Jomaa arrived Tuesday in Tebessa (634 km east of Algiers) for a one-day working visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Abdelamelk Sellal.
Upon his arrival, Jomaa was welcomed by Sellal along with Foreign Affairs Minister Ramtane Lamamra, Algeria’s ambassador to Tunis Abdelkader Hadjar and Tebessa province’s authorities.
The Head of the Tunisian Government is accompanied, during his visit, by Minister of National Defence and Foreign Affairs Ghazi Jeribi and Mongi Hamdi, as well as Tunisia’s ambassador to Algiers Abdelmadjid Ferchichi.
The two delegations headed for the province of Tebessa to chair a meeting devoted to the “review of issues of common interest in the light of the evolution of the sub-regional situation and of the bilateral relations, in terms of the political and security coordination and border development.”
