
The Vice President of the Republic Hassabu Mohamed Abdal-Rahman, has given directives on completion of all obligations and international requirements for combating money laundering and terrorist financing besides reflection of the state efforts in this regard in various media, and awareness of the risks of money laundering and terrorist financing on all levels.
This came when he presided over, at the Council of Ministers Wednesday, the meeting of the Committee on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.
The meeting reviewed a report on the implementation position of the targeted review requirements. The Regional Group on the Targeted Review of the International Group on the Financial Action will get acquainted, in its meeting during the period between 17-19 of the next September in Addis Ababa, with Sudan's efforts in the field of developing a system on money laundering combating and terrorist financing.
