
Vice President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman, affirmed that the national dialogue adopted by the state it is not a tactic , but a strategic, systematic, conciliatory, socio-cultural and political process leading to compromise and rejection to disputes.
Addressing a gathering of the national unity governments and the signatory movements of the peace agreement Monday evening at Martyr Al-Al-Zubair, Hassabo asserted the state readiness for dialogue with anyone even those who are abroad.
Regarding the elections, Hassabo said there is no contradiction between them and the national dialogue, because the elections are a constitutional right related to certain timing so as to avoid occurrence of a constitutional vacuum.
Meanwhile, Hassabo revealed that the coming days will witness holding meetings of the general assembly of the national dialogue in order to approve the road-map and its topics before launching the dialogue process.
The Vice President of the Republic referred to the importance of the societal dialogue as it includes over 70% of the Sudanese society that has no relation with the parties , denying existence of detainees for political.
